I’d like to let you know what’s going on with the podcast – nothing major, but I like the idea of keeping you informed to establish expectations. I’ve been mostly successful in keeping up the one-episode-a-week schedule during the pandemic-induced stay-at-home time, but it’s been a lot of work on the logistical side. Along with my regular schedule of jobs (yes, jobs plural – not an excuse, everybody deals with deadlines and I’m no different), keeping things organized proved to be a bit beyond my capabilities last week.
I think I have enough episodes queued up to maintain that schedule through the rest of May, and future episodes include discussions with some fun and interesting folks. When we get to June, I’m going to slide back to my usual schedule of two episodes a month. For those of you who have been with the podcast for a long time, you’ll recall I usually only do one episode a month in the summer because that’s usually when I’m on the road a lot, attending various events and getting some riding in.
Unfortunately, all the events I would normally attend have been postponed or cancelled – and understandably so. Where I live, the stay-at-home order extends into mid-June, so I’m limiting pleasure riding as a result (no hard feelings, really). That means I should be able to do two episodes a month of both podcasts. (The other, if you’re interested, is aimed squarely at members of our sponsor, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America, and each episode features a discussion with an MOA member. You can find it on the MOA website or in podcast aggregation apps everywhere.)
