Rene Cormier is one of those guys who has it all – or so we’d like to think. He’s a husband and father, sure, but he also spent four years riding around the world and published an award-winning book about the experience.
Now something of an elder statesman of the motorcycling RTW set, he splits his time between Canada and South Africa, running tours on both continents as well as in South America and Mongolia.
(Sorry for the quick page here – due to AIMExpo last weekend and an MOA event next weekend 150 miles west of Milwaukee, I’ve been in Wisconsin all week and trying to keep up and catch up with both of my jobs.)
You can find out all about Cormier’s tour company, Renedian Adventures, not just by listening to this episode, but by checking out the website as well. You can also find Renedian Adventures on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
If you’re interested in buying a copy of University of Gravel Roads – and I highly recommend it – you can find that on Amazon and maybe even at your local motorcycle dealer. There’s also a whole website dedicated to UGR.
While you’re out there surfing the web, don’t forget to visit our sponsors, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America and Dunlop Motorcycle Tires. You can also follow Chasing the Horizon on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Thanks for listening and we’ll see you out there somewhere on the road – or off it! Ride safe.
