Episode 90, in which we slip on some protection with Ed Staggs

Greetings one and all. I hope you are well. If you are not well, I hope you at least have a sense of humor about it.

Episode 90 features a discussion with Ed Staggs, who owns and runs Bohn Body Armor.

It’s an intriguing concept, and one I admit I never put much thought into until I became aware of Bohn recently. I liked enough of what I heard from Ed to get a pair of their armored underpants (that sounds weird now that I hear myself say it) to use under my “riding jeans” (heavy denim reinforced with kevlar panels in the knees, hips and butt). I know from first-hand experience how much bouncing off pavement can hurt.

Anyway, I also want to remind listeners this episode is the last of the weekly ones we’ve been doing during the most intense period of lockdowns due to COVID-19, starting from about mid-March. Between the two podcasts I do, I put out 18 episodes in 11 weeks! It was, in hindsight, just a little crazy.

I’ll be altering my usual summer schedule from one episode a month in June, July and August to two episodes each month, with Episode 100 kicking off Season 4 in September. I’m trying to pull together something special for #100, but no promises.
