Joanna Nguyen comes across as the kind of rider who reminds longtime, perhaps even jaded, motorcyclists why they fell in love with motorcycles in the first place. Still in her late teens and already serving as president of the Texas A&M University Motorcycle Club, she combines youthful enthusiasm with a level of maturity and purpose that is unusual for someone who has only been riding for a few years. “I got my motorcycle license before I got my driver’s license, which I’m pretty proud of,” she said.
Nguyen represents a new generation of motorcyclists, riders who are technically curious without being obsessed by specifications, passionate about performance but deeply committed to safety, eager to lead while remaining humble enough to keep learning. “Looking back,” she said, “I think I’ve definitely come a long way.”
