Well, folks ... it's been a lot of fun, but even the most fun and interesting things must eventually come to an end. Or so they say.
What we have here is the end of the Restorations Series. Eight episodes dealing with the idea—fantasy, possibly—of owning, riding and maybe even restoring a vintage bike. To help me wrap it all up are Geoff Drake and Scott Lindroth. Both ride vintage motorcycles; Geoff has a penchant for small-displacement Japanese bikes, while Scott is on his first vintage bike, a BMW R 90/6 not all that unlike my own.
In addition to getting their insights on everything involved with actually owning, riding and caring for an old bike, we discuss whether or not I should undertake restorations on either or both of my vintage motorcycles. The decision may surprise you!
