We're almost done with the Restorations Series—this is part 7, with just one more episode to go! It's been a long run and I appreciate you sticking with me throughout it. I've made a decision on whether or not to restore my 1976 BMW R 90/6, but you'll have to wait until part 8 to find out. (Or you can maybe glean the info from my appearance on the Airhead 247 SWB podcast, in another post.)
In part 7, I'm talking once again with Brooke Farquar and Mike Jinks of Motoworks in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They co-own a busy shop that caters to the maintenance needs of older bikes, and they also do some restorations as well. Jinks is instrumental in getting my own 1966 Beemer back on the road and safe to ride.
I've seen many of the things discussed in this episode in action in their shop, overheard them talk to potential customers on the phone and more. The bottom line is they practice what they preach, no doubt about that! Find out more on their website or Facebook.
