Meet the Team

Chasing the Horizon is the brainchild of Wes Fleming, Digital Media Editor of the BMW Owners News. Although Wes is tireless when it comes to creating digital content, he doesn't do this alone. Please contact Wes if you are interested in adding your name to the list of contributors.

Wes Fleming

Creator, Nerd, Anti-Camping Activist

Wes was a rock star for 25 years, but walked away and took up motorcycles. His mother still hasn’t forgiven him. He discovered BMWs thanks to a friend in 2001 and has been riding trendy, not-so-trendy and sidecar-equipped BMWs ever since...

...plus a KTM ... and soon an Indian.

He spends most of his time in Central Virginia.

Our Approach

Chasing the Horizon is a podcast by, for and about motorcyclists.

The podcast is brought to you by the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America and is one of the MOA's digital content offerings.

The podcast, while part of the MOA's broad approach to content, is not meant to be a BMW-motorcycle-only podcast, and you'll be treated to news and information from across the motorcycle industry, as well as motorcyclists (and motorcycles) of every make, marque, model and vintage.

Chasing the Horizon is meant to appeal to everybody who rides a motorcycle, no matter where they're from, how old (or young) they are or what kind of motorcycle they ride.

Our Story

An Open Source Project

When we say by, for and about motorcyclists, we really mean by motorcyclists. If you would like to contribute to our project, please contact a team member. It's a great way to tell your story, engage with the motorcycle community and share your passion with the world.
